1. Booking and reservation

1a. Bookings are only effective after confirmation, by Sudwindsports, of reception of a 25% deposit of the total sum, with a minimum of € 150.
1b. The balance should be paid 31 days prior to arrival date.
1c. Last minute bookings (four weeks or closer to the arrival date) will have to be paid in full upon reservation.
1d. Administration costs per reservation are € 12 (non refundable in case of cancellation).
1e. All prices are quoted in euros but can also be paid in pounds sterling using the exchange rate on the invoice date.
1f. When paid by international bank transfer the client will have to take all corresponding bank charges on his account. If an incomplete payment is received the difference is to be paid upon arrival in resort.
1g. When paid by Paypal a surcharge of 4% will be charged.
1h. In case of cancellation due to unexpected events more then or 31 days prior to the arrival date, the total sum paid (excluding the administration costs) minus 30% for compensation, will be refunded. In case of cancellation due to unexpected events less than 31 days prior to the arrival date there is no refund.
1i. Only written cancellations can be accepted.
1j. No refunds will be made for late arrival or early departure.

2. Sports activities

2a. If weather conditions do not permit booked activities and rental of equipment to take place, no refunds will be made. However the activities/rentals will be re-arranged for another time/date or replaced with another activity.
2b. When lessons / rentals are extended due to favourable conditions the extra time will be deducted from the overall booked course / rental.
2c. Activity prices are based on groups of minimum 2 participants. If group sizes are smaller then lessons will be reduced in time.
2d. Clients with an activity reservation have priority over clients without an activity reservation.
2e. None of the activities offered by Sudwindsports includes activity insurance in it’s price. Sudwindsports advices you to travel with a complete travel insurance covering all travellers for theft, luggage, water sports, medical help and repatriation.
2f. For the sport of kitesurfing a third party liability insurance for risk sports is needed. This insurance can be organised by the client themselves or be taken out locally.

3. General

3a. Sudwindsports can not be held responsible for any injuries, damages or theft that might happen to you or any of your party or equipment during your stay, either in the sailing / kite school areas or in the accommodation.

4. Accommodation

4a. Preferences for example: sea view room, shaded pitchetc. are granted by the accommodation provider; Sudwindsports has no influence on this and can therefore not give any guarantees.
4b. Any accommodation booked can only be accommodated by the (number of) persons marked in the description on the Sudwindsports website.
4c. Tourist tax (€ 0.35 per night per person over 13 yrs) applies to all St Pierre accommodation options and will be added to the booking invoice for all accommodation options except Camping Aux Hamacs, where tourist tax will have to be paid directly to the campsite upon arrival. Narbonne Plage’s option Camping Soleil d’Oc charges € 0.40 per night per adult.
4d. There are additional conditions for some of the accommodation providers:

Les Girelles apartments
  • At the end of your stay you will have to leave the accommodation in clean condition.
  • Sheets are not provided in the apartment. They can be brought or rented, please order in advance.
  • Extra cleaning costs (when necessary), damages or breakages will be invoiced.

    • The Beach house
  • Upon arrival a € 150 deposit will have to be paid in cash or cheque
  • At the end of your stay you will have to leave the accommodation in clean condition.
  • Electricity is included in the rental price for the months of June until September. For all other months payment for electricity used will be taken at the end of your stay.
  • Extra cleaning costs (when necessary), damages or breakages will be invoiced.

    • Camping Aux Hamacs Mobile Homes and Bungalows
  • Upon arrival a € 200 deposit will have to be paid to the campsite.
  • At the end of your stay you will have to leave the accommodation in clean condition. When extra cleaning is necessary, the necessary time for this will be invoiced, with a minimum of € 50.
  • If you do not wish to clean yourself, you can reserve a cleaner a day in advance at reception for € 35.
    • Camping Soleil d'Oc Mobile Homes
  • Upon arrival a € 250 deposit will have to be paid to the campsite.
  • At the end of your stay you will have to leave the accommodation in clean condition. When extra cleaning is necessary, the necessary time for this will be invoiced, with a minimum of € 50.
