Sailing: Get the wind in your sails!

Being able to sail across the water souly using the power of the wind has inspired people for centuries. Everyone can learn to sail, using a range of vessels, from the small bath-tub-like optimist to the sporty catamarans. Young and old can enjoy this sport and can learn to be independent and safe with the right equipment and tuition.

Sudwindsports Sailing School

Our sailing lessons take place on two locations: the children are taught in small boats, Optimists, on the safe and shallow lagoon "Etang de Pissevaches", a lake which works well in all wind directions. The catamaran lessons take place on the Mediterranean Sea in small groups. Our qualified instructors teach people of all levels and nationalities how to sail safely and independently, with the aim to make sure people enjoy the sport to the fullest and get " the buzz". All Sudwindsports sailing courses are taught in English and/or French. The maximum number of students per instructor is 8. Optimist sailing lessons can only take place during the summer school holidays. Catamaran lessons can take place from mid June until mid September. Make sure to book your courses in advance, so that we can guarantee you a place.
