IKO Kiteboarding Assistant Instructor Course (AIC)
If you do not have teaching experience and you would like to enroll in the Kiteboarding Instructor Training Course, you can sign up for the AIC, giving you a taster of what teaching kitesurfing is all about working along side an IKO level 2 instructor in a IKO school.
IKO Kiteboarding Instructor Training level-1 Course (ITC)
If you would like to start teaching in an IKO school this is the qualification that will need to be on your CV. This intensive course will give you the basics to start working as a level-1 instructor. A .pdf with more information, dates and prices is downloadable at the bottom of this page
Professional Kiteboarding Instructor Training Program (PKIT) - 3 weeks
A 3-week intensive training program for those people who want to become a fully qualified kitesurfing instructor in a short time. This course includes the IKO Assistant Instructor and IKO level-1 Instructor certificates, RYA powerboat certificate, MFA first aid certificate, training & coaching to make sure you have to appropriate riding level for these courses, and accommodation. MFA Medic First Aid course
A first aid course is a prerequisite for any professional watersports qualification. You can train with Sudwindsports according to the Medic First Aid principles. A .pdf with more information, dates and prices is downloadable at the bottom of this page
RYA Powerboat level-2
In order to enroll in any watersports instructor course (kiteboarding or windsurfing) you will need to be able to drive a powerboat. Each season we also have a number of jobs and work experience positions on offer, giving you the opportunity to gain teaching experience, practice watersports, learn and practice the French language etc.
