Terms and Conditions

1. Online Booking and reservation
1.1    Course times and dates indicated on the booking confirmation are indicative. As the activities depend on wind- and weather conditions clients must check the actual start date and time of their lesson, course or activity with the Sudwindsports beach office in advance. Tel +33 (0)6 85 95 33 34 or info@sudwindsports.com. It is the responsibility of the client to check at what time the lesson, course or activity starts. No refunds will be made in case of missed lessons or late arrivals.
1.2    If lesson times or days change Sudwindsports will try and contact the client. The client must make sure to give Sudwindsports a mobile phone number where he can be reached in the days coming up to the booked course.
1.3    The client must make sure that he has the appropriate entry level, age and prerequisites for the booked course. If it turns out that a client has booked a course that is not suitable for his age or level, Sudwindsports will try and reschedule for the right course or lesson. If this is not possible no refunds will be made. If in doubt, please contact us before booking.
1.4    Vouchers purchased online have a limited validity on 1 year. Please contact us to arrange date and time.

2. Booking via email or post
2.1     Bookings are only effective after confirmation by Sudwindsports of reception of a 25% deposit of the total sum, with a minimum of £150.
2.2     The invoice balance should be paid 31 days prior to arrival date.
2.3     Last minute bookings (four weeks or closer to the arrival date) will have to be paid in full upon reservation.
2.4     Administration costs per reservation are € 12 (non refundable in case of cancellation).
2.5     All prices are quoted in Euros and in British pounds sterling using the current exchange rate. 
2.6    When paid by international bank transfer the client will have to take all corresponding bank charges on his account. If an incomplete payment is received the difference is to be paid upon arrival in resort.
2.7    When paid by Paypal a surcharge of 4% will be charged.
2.8    Payments can also be taken by cheque made out to Sudwindsports, please send to the UK office address listed below.

3. Booking cancellation
3.1     In case of cancellation by the client due to unexpected events more then or 31 days prior to the arrival date, the total sum paid (excluding the administration costs) minus 30% for compensation, will be refunded. In case of cancellation due to unexpected events less than 31 days prior to the arrival date there is no refund.
3.2     Only written cancellations can be accepted.
3.3     No refunds will be made for late arrival or early departure.
3.4    No refunds will be made for cancellation of sports activities by clients.

4. Sports activities
4.1    Sports activities booked through Sudwindsports will be executed by Stephen Jones / Sudwindsports, (no. Siret 481 879 377 00010, code APE 8551Z) or their local subcontractor.
4.2     If weather conditions do not permit booked activities and rental of equipment to take place, no refunds will be made. However the activities/rentals will be re-arranged for another time/date or replaced with another activity.
4.3    When lessons/rentals are extended due to favorable conditions the extra time will be deducted from the overall booked course/rental.
4.4    Activity prices are based on groups of minimum 2 participants. If group sizes are smaller then lessons will be reduced in time.
4.5    Clients with an activity reservation have priority over clients without an activity reservation. Vouchers purchased via our website do not count as reservations, please make sure to book your course in advance.
4.6    None of the activities offered by Sudwindsports includes activity insurance in its price. For the sport of kitesurfing a third party liability insurance for risk sports is needed. This insurance can be organized by the client themselves or be taken out locally.
4.7     Sudwindsports advices you to travel with a complete travel insurance covering all travelers for theft, luggage, water sports, medical help and repatriation.

5. General liability
5.1.     Neither Sudwindsports, Stephen Jones/WindMagic nor the local subcontractor can be held responsible for any injuries, damages or theft that might happen to you or any of your party or equipment during your stay, either in the activity or school areas or in the accommodation.

6. Accommodation
6.1    Preferences, like for example sea view room, shaded pitch etc. are granted by the accommodation provider; Sudwindsports has no influence on this and can therefore not give any guarantees.
6.2    Any accommodation booked can only be accommodated by the (number of) named persons stated upon reservation.
6.3    There are specific conditions for some of the accommodation providers:
Les Girelles apartments
•    At the end of your stay you will have to leave the accommodation in clean condition.
•    Extra cleaning costs (if necessary), damages or breakages will be invoiced.
•    Sheets and towels are not provided in the apartment. They can be brought from home or rented for € 7.50 per person, please order in advance. 
•    The services and swimming pool will be open during the months of July and August only.
•    Tourist tax of € 0.35 p/night p/person over 13 yrs will be added to your invoice
The Beach House
•    Upon arrival a € 150 damages deposit will have to be paid in cash or cheque to the property owner or his/her representative
•    At the end of your stay you will have to leave the accommodation in a clean condition.
•    Extra cleaning costs (if necessary), damages or breakages will be invoiced and take out of the damages deposit.
•    Sheets are included for any stay of 7 nights or longer. For shorter stays a sheet rental supplement of € 8.00 per person will be added to the invoice.
•    Electricity is included in the rental price for the months of June until September. For all other months payment for electricity used will be taken at the end of your stay according to the meter reading
•    Extra cleaning costs (if necessary), damages or breakages will be invoiced.
Villa Copacabana
•    Upon arrival a € 300 damages deposit will have to be paid in cash or cheque to the property owner or his/her representative
•    At the end of your stay you will have to leave the accommodation in a clean condition.
•    Extra cleaning costs (if necessary), damages or breakages will be invoiced and take out of the damages deposit.
•    Sheets are included for any stay of 7 nights or longer. For shorter stays a sheet rental supplement of € 8.00 per person will be added to the invoice.
•    Electricity is included in the rental price for the months of June until September. For all other months payment for electricity used will be taken at the end of your stay according to the meter reading
•    The swimming pool is open from 15/06 until 15/09.
Cottage Village Mobile Homes
•    Upon arrival a € 200 damages deposit will have to be paid to the reception.
•    At the end of your stay you will have to leave the accommodation in clean condition.
•    Extra cleaning costs (if necessary), damages or breakages will be invoiced and taken out of the damages deposit. If you do not wish to clean yourself, you can reserve a cleaner a day in advance at reception for € 40.
•    Sheets are not provided in the mobile home. They can be brought from home or rented for € 6.00 /single sheet or € 8.00 /double sheet, please order in advance.
•    Services, swimming pool and entertainment are available only during the months of July and August.
•    Tourist tax of € 0.25 p/night p/person over 13 yrs will be added to your invoice
Camping Soleil d’Oc Mobile Homes
•    Upon arrival a € 250 damages deposit will have to be paid to the reception.
•    At the end of your stay you will have to leave the accommodation in clean condition.
•    Extra cleaning costs (if necessary), damages or breakages will be invoiced and take out of the damages deposit.
•    Sheets are not provided in the mobile home. They can be brought from home or rented, please contact us for prices.
•    Services and entertainment will be available during the months of July and August only
•    Tourist tax of € 0.40 p/night p/person over 13 yrs will be added to your invoice
Camping La Nautique Mobile Homes
•    Upon arrival a € 200 damages deposit will have to be paid to the reception.
•    At the end of your stay you will have to leave the accommodation in clean condition.
•    Extra cleaning costs (if necessary), damages or breakages will be invoiced and taken out of the damages deposit
•    Sheets are included for any stay of 7 nights or longer, but have ti be booked in advance. For shorter stays sheets can be brought from home or rented for € 5.00 per person.
•    Services and entertainment will be available from 01/05 until 15/09
•    Tourist tax of € 0.40 p/night p/person over 13 yrs will be added to your invoice

By paying the invoice for your booking you agree to all paragraphs of this Terms and Conditions document.
