Transport troubles: planes and trains
Bad news for people wanting to travel in Europe. The Icelandic ash cloud is not the only thing stopping people to head to their holiday destination. The French railway workers (SNCF) have decided to go on strike too. This means that train services are disrupted. Luckily 80% of scheduled trains is still running. Season's opening 2010
The 2010 season kicks off on 19 April, when we will reopen the watersports centre for lessons and courses. The Windmagic bar will reopen on 1st of May.
New accommodation: Villa Copa Cabana
The hottest spot north of Havana? Actually no, but situated on the Saint Pierre hill, overlooking the Mediterranean and at 300 meters from the watersports centre. For a maximum of 5/6 people this independent self catering holiday house is a great place to stay for families. Find out more.
European Junior Kitesurfing Cup 2010: 13 - 16 May
Want to see an 8-year old looping a kite while doing a enormously high jump? Come to the Saint Pierre Kitezone on 13 - 16 May, where we will be welcoming youngsters under 16 for an international kitesurfing competition. Read more.
Please note that from 13 - 16 May the kitesurfing school and the kitezone will be closed for anyone who is not joining the competition.

On a warm and windy Friday in August Evelien gave birth to a lovely baby boy, called Hugo, weighing in at 3320 kilograms and measuring 53 cms tall. Steve, the proud dad, has already ordered Hugo's first kite !
