Rules and Regulations
On the beach :
Set up on the right hand side of the kitezone and leave all spare kites / bags / pumps on the extremities of the zone
Always put sand on your kite to weigh it down
Never launch or land a kite over anybody or anything
Please leave the beach how you found it
On the water :
Stay in-between yellow marker buoys until out past 300m (the last bouy) then stay in easy vision of rescue boat and kitezone
Do not use the two lanes either side of the kitezone, these are security areas where we cannot kitesurf and swimmers cannot swim
Give the right of way to beginners
Follow the international rules of the road when on the water and at all costs avoid collision
If you are in trouble and need assistance – put kite at the zenith (12 O’clock) and keep still - if the kite is in the water signal with one arm
If you hear THREE loud blasts from an air horn please come off the water and do not go back on until otherwise informed
The Kitezone rescue boat is in operation from 10:00 - 12:30 & 14:00 - 18:00 in off-shore winds
